The European Digital Identity Wallet, developed by the European Commission and designed to store and manage verifiable identity information such as digital identities, is now part of AgeVerif's age verification solutions.

France is the first European country to implement the EUDI Wallet through its France Identité app, and we are delighted to announce that we are offering a new age verification method for French citizens based on this Wallet.
This new free AgeVerif method allows French citizens to prove that they have reached the legal age using a verifiable digital identifier stored in their EUDI wallet. Users can thus confirm their age without disclosing any personally identifiable information, in line with AgeVerif’s commitment to privacy-preserving solutions.

The EUDI wallet is expected to be rolled out across Europe by the end of 2026, with each Member State providing a national digital wallet to all its citizens. As they become available, we will integrate these national digital wallets into our service in order to offer this new verification method to all European users.
Website operators can now activate this new method for free in just a few clicks from their Webmasters dashboard. No configuration is required; user geolocation and the integration of future national digital wallets, as they are deployed, are fully automated by our service.
By leveraging the EUDI Wallet, AgeVerif can provide a seamless and secure age verification process that meets the highest age assurance levels and complies with the most strictly enforced European and international regulations.
In addition to our in-house methods and a rigorous selection of third-party solutions, the integration of EUDI Wallet further strengthens AgeVerif’s position as a leading provider of free, privacy-focused age verification solutions.
