New Checker, less user friction, more flexibility
The Checker's new operating mode allows a user's active session to be shared between multiple sites protected by AgeVerif, in jurisdictions where regulations do not prohibit session sharing between sites.
This reuse of age verification is based on the user's explicit authorization and voluntary action.
This is a major advantage for users, who can now keep their age verification session active on multiple sites without having to strictly re-authenticate (available depending on jurisdiction and regulations).
What does this change for webmasters?
If you use OAuth2 integration, nothing changes; the process remains the same.
With Basic integration, the Checker displayed when the site loads is replaced by a modal window that asks the user to initiate the verification process.
This modal window can be customized with your logo and the color of your site.
With Advanced integration, the principle is the same, but the new customizable modal window is displayed after a user action.
