AI Forensics is a European non-profit organization that investigates influential and opaque algorithms in order to defend digital rights.
In October 2025, AI Forensics produced a technical report highlighting the ability of the AgeVerif age verification system to distinguish minors from adults and the risks of discrimination.
AgeVerif is open to any constructive criticism and dialogue that could help improve the quality, reliability, and fairness of the service we provide.
However, some of the points raised by the AI Forensics report deserve answers, which we provide in our analysis of the AI Forensics technical report.
