Yoti Digital ID (free)
Yoti Digital ID is free, trustworthy and widely adopted. Users already verified with Yoti reach your content without a new verification, and anyone else can share or verify their age in the free Yoti app.
How it works:
- The user is redirected to the Yoti app, where they download or open it;
- They share or verify their age in the app;
- They return verified and can access your content.
Yoti keys (optional add-on)
Yoti keys are not a separate solution. When you enable them, a Yoti keys option appears on the same Yoti page in the Checker, next to Yoti Digital ID.
A Yoti key is securely stored on the user's device and lets them prove their age in just a few clicks, without opening an app. The key must already exist on the device to work. Users get one in two ways:
- From a previous Yoti age verification on another website;
- By creating one from their Yoti Digital ID app.
AgeVerif doesn't offer Yoti web verification itself, so users who don't have a key yet can create one from the Yoti app in a few steps.
Yoti keys cost €0.015 per successful verification, and you are only charged when a key verification succeeds. The cost stays very small, and every user who gets through with a key is a user who might otherwise have dropped off.
Our recommendation: turn on Yoti Digital ID, and add Yoti keys. Yoti Digital ID costs you nothing and lets millions of people already verified with Yoti reach your content without a new verification. Yoti keys add a one-click path on the same Yoti page for users who already have a key, for a tiny cost charged only when a verification succeeds. Together, they're one of the simplest ways to improve the overall success rate of your setup.
